    The support a guide rests on decides how accurately it seats. Tooth-supported guides are the most stable when enough teeth remain. Tissue-supported guides need fixation pins and a well-fitting scan appliance. Bone-supported guides are used after a flap is raised, usually together with bone reduction.

    Every case is different, so treat this as a starting point and adapt it to your implant system, your equipment and your team. If something here does not match what you see in your own workflow, ask Y Medic before the case, not during it.
